Which Fields are Low Temperature Alloy Steel Pipe Used in

Low-temperature alloy steel pipe has lots advantages, such as high strength, long service life, wide uses, and economical. Low-temperature alloy steel pipe is mostly rolled into plates, profiles, seamless steel pipes, etc., it is widely used in chemical industry, pipeline transportation, mining engineering and other industries that need to operate in low temperature environments.

Low-temperature alloy steel pipe has a certain amount of silicon or manganese basic elements, also it can contain vanadium (V), niobium (Nb), titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), molybdenum (Mo), nitrogen (N), and rare earth (RE) and other trace elements. In this type of steel, in addition to grade A and B steel, at least one of grade C, D and E steel should be included. Q345A, B, C, D, E are representative grades of low temperature steel, which A and B grade steel are usually called 16Mn, also known as Q345B.
